Osasuna hold on to sixth spot after a 0-0 draw at Málaga. The Pamplona based side were by far the better team overall, although the packing of midfield by both managers meant that there was very little excitement for the fans, who eventually had to find their own entertainment with improvised dancing in the stands. In fact the only chance in a dull first half fell to the visitors, Sanzol making a good save from Salva's header and Gerardo shooting wide on the follow up.

The Navarrans stepped up a gear after the break, and should have gone ahead when a shot from Muñoz struck the foot of the post. And substitute Palacios missed the best opportunity of the match near the end, waiting too long with the goal gaping in front of him and seeing his shot blocked by Juanmi. The result ends Málaga's run of three home wins in a row.
