Last week's fourth placed side Osasuna dropped down two spots after drawing 1-1 at home to Sevilla. It was a hard fought battle between the two sides, with some aggressive tackling and very little creative football. The only efforts in the first half came from Muñoz and Baptista, neither of which caused too many problems for the keepers.

However the two goals when they came were both works of art, the first coming from the boot of Baptista who latched on to a loose ball on the edge of the area to volley a shot into the roof of the net after Gorka García had only half cleared a Reyes free kick. It was his third goal in four days, and his contributions are proving vital in his side's climb up the table.

Hornos came close to extending the lead a couple of times, but Pablo García finally saved his side a point with a curling free kick from outside of the area which gave Esteban no chance. The visitors could still have won it though had Alfredo not cleared a last minute Baptista header off the line.
