1-1. 87. Kovacevic. Charged down attempted clearance by Sanzol.

A late goal from Kovacevic saved a point for Real Sociedad in their derby match at Osasuna. The Serbian striker charged down a clearance by Sanzol three minutes from the end and watched the rebound bounce back into the net to give his side a boost for the upcoming Champions League game.

Webó had given the Navarrans the lead in the first half with a well taken goal, and only a couple of excellent saves by Alberto stopped the Camerooni striker from scoring again before the break. Real's only attempts at goal up to that point were efforts from Nihat and Kovacevic which went wide, although they did go close again after the break, with Nihat testing Sanzol from a free kick and Xabi Alonso heading wide.

Both keepers were called upon again later on, Alberto saving well from an Aloisi shot and a close range effort from Cruchaga, and Sanzol stopping Kovacevic, the Serbian striker hitting the post on the follow up. But just when it appeared that Osasuna were heading for their first home win in three months, Real struck to make it 1-1 and send the fans home disappointed.
