An incredible match at Zaragoza, where four goals from local striker David Villa were only enough to earn a point in an exciting 4-4 draw with Sevilla. The result was little use to either side, the locals ending the weekend still only two points above the bottom three and the Andalucians two points off the UEFA cup spots. Casquero put the visitors ahead early on with a shot which took a deflection off a defender, but Villa struck twice with help from Savio, the first after Esteban failed to cut out the Brazilian's cross and the second with a dummy past Alfaro, to put his side ahead at the interval.

Casquero equalised after the restart with the goal of the night, but Villa put his side in front again with a free kick which although took a deflection off Savio, was awarded to the ex Sporting striker . And four minutes later he got his fourth of the night from the penalty spot to open up what looked like an unbeatable lead. However Toledo was sent off for a foul on Casquero in the area and Baptista (who curiously had scored four himself only a week earlier) scored from the resulting penalty. And with the game in the fourth minute of injury time, substitute Carlos saved a point for the Andalucians after Baptista set him up.
