Osasuna moved up into second spot in the league pending Sunday's matches after coming from behind twice to beat Betis 3-2. The Pamplona based side hit the woodwork twice in the first half, with Moha hitting a post early on and Milosevic crashing an effort against the bar on the stroke of half time, but they found themselves behind at the break thanks to a Melli header from Joaquín's corner.

Aloisi levelled things after the restart with a poacher's goal, but Edu restored the lead for the visitors a few minutes later. However Melli headed through his own net to square the match once again, and nine minutes from the end Milosevic got on the end of Expósito's cross to head home the winning goal in spectacular fashion. The defeat leaves Betis down near the foot of the table with only one point from three games.
