Goals: None.

Not much action in the match between two of the newly promoted sides, Levante and Getafe, who were meeting in the first division for the first time in their history. The match ended without goals, leaving the home side two points away from the European spots and the visitors just a point above the bottom three.

The closest anybody came to scoring was a header by Getafe striker Yordi against the post on the half hour mark, although Levante had three penalty appeals turned down in the first half on Sergio García, Manchev and Nacho.

Schuster eventually brought on Reggi, and the Argentine striker should have scored when put through on goal, but he shot wide. He did get the ball in the net near the end, but referee Muñiz Fernández spotted that he knocked the ball into the net with his arm "a la hand-of-god", and showed him a yellow card. So Levante had to make do with a point, the first they have picked up in four games.
