Osasuna moved back up to seventh spot after a comfortable 2-0 win over Numancia. It was a ninth straight loss away from home for the Soria based side, equalling the league record and leaving them firmly anchored at the bottom of the table.

The early chances did fall to the away side, an active Lee Chun Soo in particular shooting just wide on a couple of occasions. But Osasuna should have taken the lead before the break, with Muñoz, Valdo, Webó and Morales all failing to find the target.

Four minutes after the restart though Morales put his side ahead with a spectacular overhead kick, and the Uruguayan international added a second later on from Moha's free kick to make it seven goals in as many games.

Pineda could have pulled one back in between, but otherwise Numancia were hardly in the game, and go in to the winter break with a lot to do to if they are to save themselves from an immediate return to the second division.
