1-1. 41. Ettien. Got ahead of Juanma to head Sergio García cross into net.

A disappointing result for the locals at Levante, where bottom club Numancia came away with a 1-1 draw to make it three games now without defeat. The Soria based side opened the scoring in the twentieth minute when Graff latched on to a deflected cross to volley the ball past Mora, his first goal in the Spanish league after more than 200 games. But after that Bernd Schuster's team woke up, Jofre shooting just wide and Manchev bringing a good save out of Juanma before Ettien equalised, getting ahead of Juanma to head Sergio García's cross down and then finishing off from close up as the defence protested a possible foul on the keeper.

The home side tried their best after the restart, Jofre again going wide and Juanma saving from Sergio García. Numancia were still dangerous on one or two isolated counter attacks, Miguel in particular having a shot saved by Mora, but Sergio García hit the bar near the end and substitute Congo could have won it had he been able to beat the keeper in the final moments. The draw takes Levante back down to fourteenth, although they are still seven points clear of the drop zone.
