Osasuna halted their slide down the table thanks to a 1-1 draw at Albacete, although they have yet to win a match in 2005. There was little action in a dull first half, the only scoring chances falling to Milosevic, who's shot was saved by Valbuena, and Mark González, who headed Peralta's cross just wide of the post. A lack of concentration by Valbuena almost allowed the visitors to score with a long free kick after the restart, but they did take the lead a few minutes later when Morales blasted a shot into the net from close up after the keeper had tipped a previous header on to the bar. But Pacheco levelled the scores from the penalty spot eight minutes from the end after Cuéllar brought down Rubén Castro to keep their hopes of survival alive. Not the best of home debuts though for caretaker manager Martín Monteagudo, and his side ended the weekend four points away from safety.
