An amazing match with seven goals in the San Moix stadium, Mallorca climbing off the bottom of the table with a 5-2 win over Real Sociedad. Yordi headed Héctor Cúper's side ahead in the fifth minute, the first goal his team had scored this season. But by the interval they were behind, Novo striking a deflected shot past Prats to equalise and Xabi Prieto bursting through to score a second on the stroke of half time.

Arango turned the scoreline around though with two headed goals in three minutes, the first from a corner and the second from a cross from substitute Okubo. And then the Venezuelan midfielder completed his hat-trick with a spectacular volley after controlling a throw-in with his back to goal, possibly one of the best goals we will see all season. The Basque side were beaten, and Choutos came on for the last couple of minutes to add a fifth and take his side up twelve spots in the league to eighth place.
