Racing Santander stay in twelfth spot in the table after picking up another point in a 0-0 draw with Zaragoza, although the Cantabrians are still only five points away from the relegation spots and are not yet out of danger. Manolo Preciado's side have Dudu Aouate to thank in part for the point though after the Israeli keeper put in a great performance, in particular keeping out Generelo and Sergio García on two occasions early on in the first half.

Both managers made changes at the break, but once again the visitors were on top, Diego Milito hitting the side netting, Cani having a penalty appeal turned down and Alvaro heading a corner against the bar. Eventually Racing did carve out a couple of chances, but César responded well to keep out Juanjo and Pinilla. Melo felt he should have had a penalty as well when he was pushed in the area, but the last chance fell to Víctor Muñoz's side when Aouate once again saved from Savio. The fans didn't like it very much, but the locals had another point in the bag.
