Newly promoted Recreativo scraped a point in the last minute in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca. Arango appeared to have given the visitors the victory when he struck a spectacular first time volley past Toño from Jankovic's cross four minutes from the end, but Cazorla equalised in injury time with a shot from outside of the area which Prats could only push back in to his own net.

If anything, the visitors had the better of a dull first half, with Pereyra and Basinas both trying their luck. Maxi López had a goal disallowed for offside early in the second half after an incredible miss by Jonás, and the ex Barcelona striker had another effort saved by López Vallejo. Recre had their chances too though, in particular when Jordi cleared off the line from Rosu soon afterwards. Finally though the points were shared, which appeared to be a fair result.
