Osasuna finally got their first win of the new campaign, beating newly promoted Gimnastic Tarragona 2-0 with goals in the first and last minute of the match. The Pamplona based side hadn't scored in their first two games, but within 40 seconds Milosevic played on a long ball from Puñal for Webó to beat Bizzarri with a long shot.

The hosts hardly troubled the visiting keeper for the rest of the first half though, and Makukula was unlucky to have a penalty appeal turned down when he fell under Ricardo's challenge. The ex Sevilla striker also fired another shot wide, and later in the second half could have equalised had Ricardo not stood up to his shot.

Osasuna could have had a penalty themselves though when the ball hit Matellán on the arm, and Webó and Milosevic both put chances wide. And with the match coming to an end, Bizzarri dropped a simple cross at the feet of Milosevic for him to round the keeper and score the second.
