Zaragoza came from two goals down to save a point in a 2-2 draw with Levante. The Valencia based side surprised their hosts, with Camacho volleying home a long shot after the defence failed to clear a corner midway through the first half, the first effort at goal by either side. César saved from Rubiales soon afterwards, but Ponzio came close to equalising when he hit the bar five minutes before half time. However three minutes later Ettien cut past his marker on the right wing and laid the ball across to Kapo, who beat the keeper on the near post.

Víctor Fernández went for broke, bringing on Celades and Oscar at the interval, and the move paid off when Aimar laid the ball back for Celades to shoot inside the far post. López Caro pulled his players back, and Molina made two first class saves to keep his side ahead. But with twelve minutes to go a cross from Sergio García was deflected on to the near post, and Diego Milito tucked it home from a yard out. Zaragoza were happy to have saved a point, even though it was not what they wanted at the start of this match.
