Goals:
0-1. 22. Arango. Struck angled shot past keeper after corner not cleared.

A 0-1 win for Mallorca at Levante, where visiting coach Gregorio Manzano was celebrating his 200th game as a manager in the top flight. Arango got the only goal of the game midway through the first half after an Ibagaza's free kick was only headed away by Alexis as far as his feet, the Venezuelan midfielder drilling an angled shot past Molina.

But after that neither side particularly troubled the keepers until local substitute Nino headed into the hands of Prats later in the second half. The ex Elche striker also thought he should have had a penalty a few minutes later, but referee Alvarez Izquierdo waved away the appeals and sent off Kapo for what he said was an insult (although he apparently only said the word "what?" in English!).

There the game ended, and Mallorca move away from the danger zone with three points which takes them above their opponents in the table.
