Goals:
0-1. 10. Baiano. Got on end of long free kick to turn ball in on far post.

Celta moved up to the top half of the table with a 0-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao, who have only picked up one point from their four home games and who ended the weekend just outside the bottom three.

Baiano got the only goal of the game in the fifth minute, turning in a long free kick from Lequi which Luis Prieto could only head back in to the path of the striker. But after that the Galicians hardly went near Lafuente's goal, and it was left to Pinto to do the rest.

The visiting keeper (who won the "Zamora" best goalkeeper prize last season) had not had a clean sheet all season, but he pulled off a string of first class saves, including two free kicks from Yeste in the first half, and a spectacular overhead kick from the midfielder and two headers from Urzaiz after the restart.

The Basque side felt themselves unlucky as well to have a penalty claim turned down late on after Tamas blocked a close range shor with his hands. But when Pinto stopped Urzaiz's last minute header the home fans knew that they were in for another disappointing night.
