Getafe are proving once again to be the revelation side this season, and they moved back up to the UEFA spots with a 1-0 win over Mallorca. With Prats and Abbondanzieri heading up the Zamora table, a goal-less draw was on the cards. And for the first hour or so that seemed to be the case, the only real chances a shot from Arango after a clever flick on by Maxi López, and an effort from Nacho over the bar after good work by Paunovic.

But a quarter of an hour in to the second half an uncharacteristic mistake by Prats allowed Nacho to score what was to be the only goal of the game, the keeper failing to hold on to a soft cross from Paredes allowing the winger to shoot in to the empty net. After that the game woke up, Prats making up for his mistake with a save from Alberto, and Abbondanzieri keeping out a Nunes header at the other end. Pachón could have increased the lead at the end on a quick breakaway with a chip which brushed the crossbar, but by then the three points were in the bag.
