Recreativo are proving to be the revelation side this season, and they moved back up to the UEFA cup spots after a 2-0 win over Osasuna. The Andalusians dominated the first half, with Mario heading against the bar and Sinama-Pongolle bringing a good save out of Ricardo. And on the stroke of half time Cazorla left two men for dead down the right by-line before crossing in to Sinama. The ex Liverpool man's shot ballooned up off a defender and fell to Javi Guerrero, whose looping header went past Monreal on the line and in to the net.

Up to then Osasuna had not managed a shot on goal, and it was not until twenty minutes from the end that López Vallejo was first put to work by a timid shot from substitute Nekounam. But soon afterwards Uche wrapped things up, leaving Josetxo and Javier Flaño for dead with a swift turn before drilling a shot past Ricardo from the tightest of angles. It was third win in a row for Marcelino's side, and the defeat leaves the visitors in the drop zone.
