1-2. 68. Aduriz. Following up after Prieto headed Yeste free kick against post.
1-3. 95. Luis Fabiano. Ran on to shoot low past Lafuente on quick breakaway.

Sevilla hold on to second spot, just a point behind leaders Barcelona, after beating Athletic Bilbao 1-3 in the last match on Sunday. Juande Ramos's side were two up within the first ten minutes, Luis Fabiano heading Kanouté's cross past Lafuente and Martí catching the keeper way off his line with a free kick from out on the left wing.

Palop was in action later in the first half to keep out a header from Urzaiz, and was called upon again after the break to do the same. midway through the second half Aduriz did get one back after Luis Prieto's header came back off the post, but Luis Fabiano wrapped things up with his second of the night on a quick breakaway in injury time. Athletic drop into the bottom three as a result, and coach Sarriugarte is expected to be relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
