Zaragoza stay in fourth spot after drawing 1-1 at Celta. Diego Milito got on the end of Aimar's cross to head Víctor Fernández's side in to the lead in only the seventh minute of the match. But Zapater was sent off a few minutes later after picking up a second booking from referee Rubinos Pérez, who himself had to hand over to the fourth official after injuring himself later in the first half.

Celta came to close to equalising a couple of times before the break, especially with an effort from Placente on the stroke of half time. And a few minutes after the restart Baiano did level the scores, forcing the ball in to the net after César failed to hold on to a soft cross from Canobbio.

Numbers were evened up towards the end after Gustavo López was also shown a red card after the fourth official overhead him insulting the referee's mother. Diego Milito brought a couple of good saves out of Pinto, but in the end both sides settled for a point, only the fifth that the Galicians have won at home.
