Racing Santander are up to twelfth in the table after coming from behind to beat Mallorca 1-2. The Balearic Islanders had not won at home since the end of September, but Arango headed over and Diego Tristán brought a good save out of Toño before Jankovic gave them the lead on the quarter hour mark after Tristán and Arango set him up.

The locals continued to dominate up to the break, but Racing came out better after the restart, Zigic testing Prats before Rubén got on the end of a wayward shot from Oscar Serrano to head the equaliser. The game though appeared to be heading for a draw when Munitis won the ball in midfield and passed in for Zigic to slide it through to substitute Balboa, who struck an angled shot past Prats. There was no time left for Mallorca to react, and the Cantabrians came away with three points which takes them above their opponents in the table.
