Recreativo stay in seventh spot after drawing 1-1 with Deportivo on Sunday evening. Javi Guerrero got on the end of Cazorla's cross to poke a shot past Aouate in the tenth minute, and for the next few minutes it was all Recre, with Beto and Jesús Vázquez both coming very close to scoring. But Arizmendi levelled the scores with the Galicians' first shot on target, a long effort which caught López Vallejo off guard.

Visiting keeper Aouate made a first class save from Uche on the stroke of half time, but after that there were few chances until López Vallejo kept out a header from substitute Taborda a quarter of an hour from the end. Sinama-Pongolle had a penalty appeal turned down at the other end, but Arizmendi should have won it when he broke free on a long run onlty to shoot wide with only the keeper to beat. In the end though but both sides were happy with a point, which was the Andalusians' first draw since the opening day of the season.
