Zaragoza stay in sixth spot after drawing 0-0 with Recreativo Huelva, but the Andalusians are having their best season ever and are just one point behind their opponents in the table. Despite the result it was a lively match, with Aimar bringing a spectacular save out of López Vallejo with an acrobatic over head kick early on. And the locals had the better of the first half, D'Alessandro in particular going close with a long free kick.

César was put to work though by a long shot by Uche after the restart, and Javi Guerrero headed against the post with the keeper beaten. D'Alessandro fired another long shot over the top, and the visiting keeper did well to stop a header from Sergio García. Sinama-Pongolle brought another good save out of César, and Uche headed wide. And the game ended as it started, López Vallejo reaching up to the top corner of his goal to tip Aimar's free kick away for a corner. A fair result, but it would have been nice to have had a couple of goals.
