Deportivo and Levante shared the point in a 0-0 draw, a result which kept up the home side's unbeaten record in 2007, and gave the visitors the point they wanted to steer clear of the drop zone. Honours were shared in the first half, Salva going close with an acrobatic shot from the edge of the area and Arizmendi testing Molina, who was given an ovation by the home fans on his return to the Riazor stadium.

Alexis and Tommasi both went close for the visitors as well before the break, and Arizmendi almost deflected the ball in to the net soon after the restart after a series of rebounds. The closest anyone came to scoring was when Andrade headed against the foot of the post, but Aouate had to keep out substitute Reggi in the dying minutes to ensure the final result. No goals, but an entertaining match.
