Zaragoza stay in sixth place after a 0-0 draw at Levante, although their position didn't change much after seven of the top eight sides all picked up a point. The closest anyone came to scoring was in the fifth minute when César turned Salva's header onto the crossbar, Riga hit the bar again on the follow up and Piqué cleared off the line from Salva's third attempt.

Ettien shot wide a few minutes later, and Ewerthon wasted a couple of chances at the other end either side of half time, as well as having a penalty appeal turned down. And the locals played out the last couple of minutes with ten men after Descarga was sent off for a lunging tackle on Juanfran. In the end though points were shared, taking Levante's unbeaten run under new coach Abel Resino to four games.
