Almería and Mallorca drew 1-1 on Sunday, a result which kept the visitors a point above their opponents in mid-table. Gregorio Manzano's side had the early chances, Arango and Jonás both off target. But on the half hour mark Mané put the home side ahead when he got on the end of Uche's cross to beat Moyà.

Negredo shot wide and then had a penalty appeal turned down either side of half time, but the Islanders started to take control, Cobeño saving from Güiza and Arango and Güiza having a goal disallowed for offside. With twelve minutes to go though Güiza finally beat the young keeper with a low shot, and in the end both sides settled for a point.
