Atlético Madrid are only a point outside of the top four after they beat Osasuna 2-0, their fourth win in a row. Aguirre's side started well, with Forlán and Agüero both going close before Raúl García opened the scoring against his old side, driving a low shot past Ricardo after the defence headed out a cross from Antonio López.

The keeper had to save an effort from Agüero before the break, and the young striker was unlucky to have a penalty appeal turned down soon after the restart. Raúl García sent a dipping shot just wide and Agüero hit the post, and with ten minutes to go Agüero wrapped things up when he ran on from midfield to beat Ricardo for a second time.
