Barcelona's away form this season leaves a lot to be desired, and once again they failed to impress after a 1-1 draw at Valladolid. Frank Rijkaard's side have only won one of five away games in the league this season, and they ended the day four points adrift of leaders Real Madrid.

Valladolid are currently ensconced in the relegation zone, but Jonathan Sesma and Sis both brought saves out of Valdés before Llorente got on the end of Sesma's cross to beat the keeper on the quarter hour mark.

Mendilibar's side have only won once though despite taking the lead seven times this season, and shortly before the interval Ronaldinho equalised for the visitors after Xavi set him up, his first goal in outfield play in six months.

After the restart Barça pushed for the winner, but only Bojan went close. The young striker, replacing the injured Henry, fired a shot just wide and then picked up a Messi pass to hit the foot of the post.

The home side had the better chances after that, Valdés saving from Sesma, Víctor and Ogbeche and García Calvo shooting wide. In the end though a point apiece, not enough for the visitors to close the gap on Madrid nor for the locals to climb out of the bottom three.
