Levante are firmly anchored to the bottom of the table after losing 0-2 to Recreativo. The Valencia based side had only picked up seven points from their first fourteen games, but they started well, with Sorrentino having to save from Savio and Riganò and Riga going close.

But Martins hit the post at the other end on the half hour mark, and shortly before half time Camuñas put the visitors ahead after Bouzón headed on a long cross from Martins, Recre's first away goal since the last week of September.

Ten minutes after the restart Jesús Vázquez fired home a spectacular shot for his side's second, and the game was beyond Levante's reach. Sorrentino still had to save from Geijo and Savio, and Quique Alvarez did well to cut out Riganò as he advanced on goal. But the three points were in the bag, and the Andalusians moved safely up to mid-table.
