Osasuna move safely up to mid-table after beating Mallorca 3-1, their first home win in the league in five games. The Pamplona based side had beaten their opponents in the cup just ten days ago though, and they took the lead in the eighth minute when Héctor Font picked up a loose ball on the edge of the area after Dady had been tackled to shoot wide of Lux.

Dady fired a good chance over the bar on the stroke of half time, but immediately after the restart he sent Juanfran away down the wing for him to lay the ball back and allow Plasil to fire home the second. Güiza pulled one back after Héctor set him up just two minutes later, but Plasil hit the post soon afterwards and Dady missed the follow up. And Dady wasted another opportunity later in the secondf half before Hugo Viana finally got the third from Carlos Vela's centre in injury time.
