Murcia began their centenary year in style, climbing up seven spots in the table this weekend after winning 2-0 against Osasuna. The early chances fell to the visitors, Dady striking the post from a long free kick and Miguel Flaño heading over from a corner. But Lucas Alcaraz's side wrested back control, Regueiro having a penalty appeal turned down and Ricardo having to save from Baiano, Abel and Regueiro before the break.

Osasuna came back with efforts either side of half time, a header just wide from Margairaz and a shot from Carlos Vela which Ricardo almost pushed into the path of Dady. But with twenty minutes to go Goitom ran through from the halfway line to pick up a return pass from Gallardo and fire a low shot past Ricardo. And with the game already in injury time Goitom won himself a penalty after Flaño brought him down, and Abel converted the spot kick for the final result.
