Betis and Recreativo are both just clear of the drop zone after drawing 1-1 in their local derby. Both sides had chances in the first half, Capi and Edu heading over crosses from the ever-dangerous Caffa, with Camuñas shooting just wide and Javi Guerrero bringing a good save out of Ricardo at the other end.

Edu headed the locals into the lead from Caffa's cross ten minutes in to the second half, but their joy only lasted two minutes before Javi Guerrero equalised, heading a Carlos Martins free kick on past Ricardo. Pavone had a penalty appeal turned down soon afterwards and Beto cleared a header from Caffa off the line, but in the end both sides settled for a point, which keeps them level on 22 pointrs, just ahead of Murcia on goal difference.
