Bottom club Levante finally won this weekend, a 2-3 victory at Murcia their first in eight games and their first away from home all season. Things didn't look promising at the start though, with Regueiro heading against the post and Baiano going close a couple of times. And just a minute in to the second half Iván Alonso connected with Baiano's cross to turn the ball past Kujovic and open the scoring.

Referee Rubinos Pérez was not having a good game, and he failed to spot a clear penalty by Ochoa on Riga. Soon afterwards Levante were level when Alvaro headed Riga's corner past Notario, and Rubinos proved that two wrongs do make a right when he awarded a non existent penalty to the visitors after Courtois fell under a challenge from Mejía. The defender was shown a red card in the incident, and he made matters worse for himself when he insulted the referee as he left the field.

It was still not over though, and with a minute of normal time left scores were levelled when Kujovic pushed Abel's corner into the net trying to tip it over the bar. And in the third minute of injury time substitute Pedro León, himself an ex Murcia player, picked up a pass from Riga in an offside position and fired a shot over Notario, the keeper getting a hand to it but only able to push it in off the far post. A crushing blow for Lucas Alcaraz's side, although they do actually climb out of the bottom three after Recreativo lost by a bigger margin at the same time.
