Osasuna are only just outside of the relegation spots after they were beaten 2-1 by bottom club Levante, who recorded their first home win in three months. Monreal fired the visitors into the lead after a short Plasil free kick midway through the first half, his shot appearing to take a slight deflection off a defender.

Javi García could have got a second before the break, but Cruchaga had to clear off the line from Riga minutes after the restart, and soon afterwards alvaro got on the end of Juanma's cross to head the equaliser past Ricardo.

Three minutes later the locals were in front, Riga and Juanma combining to set up Geijo for him to round Azpilcueta and score with an angled shot. But the home fans had to suffer before the final whistle, Kujovic saving well from sola and Cruchaga and Monreal heading against the bar in injury time.
