Valladolid climbed five points clear of the drop zone after a 0-3 win at bottom club Levante. Llorente got the opener midway through the first half, beating young debutant keeper Manolo Reina after he could only parry a shot from Alvaro Rubio.

For a few minutes the locals tried to get back, Juanma bringing a good save out of Asenjo, but after that they gave up, Vivar Dorado going close with a back-heel before the break, and Víctor making it two with a well judged lob over the keeper on the hour mark. And Borja fired in a spectacular third near the end to leave the Valencia based side on the verge of relegation. Within a week or two they will be mathematically down.
