Getafe would appear to be safe at last after coming back from two goals down to beat Almería 4-2. Michael Laudrup's side had not won in seven league games (eleven counting cup ties), and they found themselves two down with just over ten minutes gone when Crusat and Paunovic both beat Pato.

But Albín scrambled one back before the break after the defence failed to clear a long cross from David Cortés, and two spectacular strikes from Manu del Moral in a six minute period midway through the second half turned the scoreline around. With the relieved fans celebrating Granero finished things off from the penalty spot after Pulido blocked a corner with his arms, and the locals now need a point from their last two games to be sure of staying up.
