Valladolid are still not safe after a 0-0 draw against Getafe, and they now have to at least draw in a tricky visit to Recreativo on the last day of the season to be sure of another year in the top flight. Despite the scoreline it was a lively match, with Oscar Sánchez and Aguirre both hitting the woodwork for the locals, the former from a wide free kick early on and the latter with a header after the restart. Keepers Sergio Asenjo and Pato Abbondanzieri were called on a number of times, in particular saving from Pablo Hernández and Llorente respectively. But in the end both sides settled for a point, which takes the locals a step closer to safety and ensures another season in the top flight for Michael Laudrup's team.
