Recreativo drop in to the relegation spots after losing 0-4 to regional rivals Málaga, a result which cost the job of coach Manolo Zambrano. Antonio Tapia's side had only scored two all season, but Eliseu started things off with only 40 seconds on the clock, sliding the ball in to the net from Adrián's cross. And local keeper Riesgo had to save from Duda and Eliseu before Baha headed the second a few minutes before the break.

Things got worse for the locals after the restart, Eliseu setting up Duda for the third just three minutes in to the second half. Camuñas brought a good save out of Arnau at the other end, but soon afterwards Eliseu got his second of the night with an impressive shot after a sloppy defence left the ball at his feet. The disappointed fans started to leave soon afterwards, and the local management reacted quickly to announce the next day that Zambrano had been fired, and that Lucas Alcaraz was returning to the Colombino stadium to try and turn things around.
