Mallorca ended the weekend down in fifteenth spot after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Málaga. Although Cléber tested Goitia early on, the visitors went ahead when Ramis turned Duda's cross in to his own net in the twelfth minute. Josemi equalised with an impressive shot just six minutes later, but Baha restored the lead soon afterwards after picking up a pass from Duda.

All of that happened in the first quarter of the match, and after that Mallorca tried to get back in the match. Arango curled a free kick just wide, and half time substitute Webó and Arango both headed efforts past the post after the restart. Lux had to be alert to save from Eliseu, but a mistake by Weligton allowed Webó to equalise midway through the second half. A draw was a fair result.
