Recreativo moved to the brink of escaping the relegation zone after a 1-0 win over bottom club Osasuna. The Andalusians had not won at home since April, and they should have gone behind before the break, Riesgo saving from Dady and Nekounam shooting wide, and Plasil firing a shot straight at the keeper when free in front of goal.

Recre's only real chances were a couple of headers from Lamas either side of half time, and Dady was unlucky not to be awarded a penalty when César Arzo brought him down soon after the restart. Dady missed the easiest of chances with the goal at his mercy, and Héctor Font and Plasil also tried their luck.

But with seven minutes to go Adrián Colunga ran on to a Javi Guerrero pass to score the winner, taking his side four points clear of José Antonio Camacho's team, level now on points with Mallorca and Espanyol.
