An extraordinary match at the Pajaritos stadium, where Numancia came from behind to beat Valladolid 4-3. A twelfth minute Barkero strike was soon cancelled out by a goal from Goitom, and early in the second half Vivar Dorado gave the visitors the lead following a Pedro León corner.

When Goitom got his second of the evening it appeared to be all over, but Del Pino got one back after a long throw was headed on, and new signing Aranda levelled the scores again with three minutes to go. The crowd were on their feet, and in the last minute Gorka Brit headed the winner to take his side four points clear of the drop zone.
