Málaga are up to eighth in the table after a last minute 1-2 win at regional neighbours Betis. Chaparró's side put up a good performance though after playing with nine men for much of the match, Melli getting sent off early on for a foul on Apoño.

A few minutes earlier Apoño had opened the scoring for the visitors from the penalty spot after Juanito and Nelson had sandwiched Nacho, but Emanà equalised from a fierce free kick before the break.

Emanà was then sent off himself though after the restart for a second bookable offence, and although the locals held on until injury time, Eliseu struck the winner past Ricardo right at the end.
