A three way tie at the bottom of the table after today's matches, with Osasuna moving off the foot of the table level with Mallorca and Espanyol after beating the Balearic Islanders 1-0. Pandiani headed in the only goal from Masoud's cross as early as the third minute, but Roberto had to be on his toes to keep out Cléber a few minutes later.

Arango fired a shot wide before the break and Aduríz just missed the target with a header from a corner, but with just under an hour gone the visitors were left with ten men after Navarro was sent off for a foul on Masoud. The locals should have added to their lead when Pandiani was brought down by Nunes in the area, but Aouate saved Puñal's spot kick.

The keeper's joy was short-lived though as he too was sent off soon afterwards for handling well outside of the area. Nekounam was also red-carded near the end for a second bookable offence, and there were some nervous moments when Flaño deflected a shot from Webó wide. But Camacho's side had three priceless points against a direct rival, and Mallorca now have to pick themselves up for Thursday's cup semi-final against Barcelona.
