Betis are only a couple of places off the relegation spots after a 2-2 draw with Getafe on Sunday evening. After their elimination from the cup midweek, coach Paco Chaparro was under big pressure to get a result. Two goals in the first ten minutes though appeared to have set them on the road to a much needed victory, with Mark González returning to the side to set up the first for Juanma and score the second himself.

Emanà came close to making it three, but things changed when Juande was sent off for a second bookable offence with only half an hour gone. Chaparro brought on Rivas in the second half to defend the lead, but it backfired when Uche left him for dead to get one back. And a few minutes later Uche ran on to Albín's through ball to beat Ricardo for a second time and level the scores. The local keeper prevented any further damage though with a penalty save from Soldado near the end after the striker had been fouled by Rivas, and Chaparro lived to fight another day.
