An extraordinary game at Almería, where the locals came back to beat Valladolid 3-2 with nine men. Pedro León put the visitors ahead with a well-struck free kick, and when Goitom turned in Víctor's cross five minutes later they seemed to be on the way to victory.
Crusat got one back after the restart, but the locals were left with ten men when Bruno was sent off for a hard tackle on Pedro León. Still Kalu Uche was able to equalise with a header which Villar could only turn in to his own net, but Uche himself was then sent off by an over-zealous Muñiz Fernández after pushing away Nano.
That appeared to be it, but a few minutes later a gung-ho Villar came to the edge of his area to push away a long centre, and the ball fell to Negredo who played it back over the keeper's head in to the net. An amazing turn-around, and Valladolid's challenge ended when they themselves were left with ten men after Nano picked up a second booking.
