A boring goal-less draw between Betis and Osasuna, a result which left the visitors still down in the relegation spots and their hosts just three points above them in the table. The locals had the better of the first half, with Sergio García missing the target a couple of times and Mehmet Aurelio and Arzu also going close.

Osasuna's only reply was an effort over the top from Hidalgo soon after the restart, and Mehmet and Oliveira brought good saves out of Roberto in the second half.

The best chance of the lot though came when Juanito headed a Mehmet free kick against the post late on, but a disappointed crowd called for the resignation of coach Paco Chaparro after the final whistle.
