Getafe's manager Víctor Muñoz is another who is under threat of losing his job, but he got some respite this weekend after his side came from behind to beat Recreativo 2-1. Uche came close to scoring before the break, Riesgo doing well to tip his shot around the post. But just a minute or so after the restart Maidana put the visitors ahead, scooping a shot over Jacobo after picking up the ball on the edge of the area.

It was left to Soldado though the save the day for his coach, the Spanish international striker controlling Manu's long ball and lobbing a shot over Riesgo to equalise, and then scoring again in to an empty net just four minutes later after the keeper could only palm out Uche's shot. Getafe had won for the first time in two months, and they move a point above their opponents in the table, still two above the drop zone.
