Mallorca have one of the hardest run-ins to the end of the season, and they added to a much needed cushion of points with a 2-0 victory over Almería.

The best chance in a dull first half fell to the locals, Scaloni bringing a good save out of Esteban with a long shot. The crowd were brought to life though by a spectacular over-head kick from Cléber Santana after a corner was only cleared to him with his back to goal.

After that the two keepers were tested by Negredo and Jurado, and with the game in the third minute of injury time Webó picked up a long clearance by Lux to set up Castro for the second, taking the Balearic Islanders a point above their opponents in the table.
