Málaga are still only two points off the UEFA Cup spots after a late 1-0 win over Racing Santander, and the Andalusians are having one of their best ever seasons after returning to the top flight last summer. It was a dull match though before the locals were awarded a penalty after Luccin fouled Adriano, Albert Luque stepping up to drill home the spot kick. Racing are still not entirely safe after a third defeat in a row.
