Mallorca are off to a flying start this season, and they occupy the fourth Champions League spot after a 3-0 win over Valladolid on Sunday evening. Nunes gave the islanders the lead in only the third minute after Julio Alvarez's free kick fell to him, poking the loose ball past Jacobo. And Aduríz and Borja Valero added two more in a three minute period midway through the second half, both on rapid counter-attacks from midfield, to make it three home wins in a row with a 9-0 aggregate score for Gregorio Manzano's side.
